Aotearoa Bike Challenge Month

Screen Shot 2017 11 21 at 17.11.19

February is Aotearoa Bike Challenge month, New Zealand Transport Agency’s annual mission to get more people on their bikes. The Queenstown Trails Trust is fully behind the initiative and wants to encourage more Queenstown employers to sign up teams to the challenge and inspire staff to take part in a daily ride during February. It’s a free challenge aiming to encourage more people to give cycling a try or simply ride more. It’s all about participation - employers sign up teams and motivate staff members to get out and ride daily for at least 10 minutes. Teams log rides and the organisations who get the most staff to ride a bike during the month of February can win a host of fantastic prizes. Go to https://www.lovetoride.net/ to find out more about getting involved.

To build awareness of the bike challenge and inspire businesses to get involved, the Queenstown Trails Trust has joined forces with a number of local organisations to host a series of fun events in February.
