MORVEN FERRY ROAD JUNCTION – RABBIT CONTROL OPERATION.
Please be aware that a rabbit control operation is now under way on either side of the Queenstown Trail as detailed in the map here.
It is anticipated that poisoned bait will be laid in the last week of July.
From July 17th – September 17th it is essential that dogs are not taken into this area – under any circumstances, for their own safety. There will be signage installed in all appropriate locations when toxins are laid.
We ask that all trail users please obey this closure to dogs and respect the landowners whose property this part of the Queenstown Trail crosses.
Please contact Mainland Vector on 0274 626 214 for further information.
